THE MARSHALL HANSON METHOD RESIDENCY PROGRAM
COST: $7000/WEEK
This program is for those of you who have completed the PREREQUISITE MHM Online Course Virtual Mentorship and are now passionate about offering this METHOD nearly exclusively in their practice, I will be offering a *four week comprehensive RESIDENCY program.
(*Some may be able to successfully complete the program in more or less than four weeks)
Here is how it works. To make things more flexible the residency program can be taken one week at a time. (For some of us it is more difficult to break away from our regular routine, but if you can make it for at least two consecutive weeks, or more, it will be better.)
*You just pay for the weeks as you go, for the number of weeks that you want or need.
The purpose of the residency is to provide a low risk, high efficiency environment for the necessary one-on-one mentorship, and immediate feedback though repetition, to help residents achieve a high level of confidence and efficiency with this METHOD in a relatively short period of time. I will share with you the details and critical insights into diagnosis and predictably executing a treatment plan that have taken me years to perfect, to help you "fast-track" your own skillset in offering this non-invasive smile enhancing procedure to your patients. The overall pattern is to simultaneously observe live cases and complete 10-unit MHM veneers on typodont models, review the live and typodont cases together, recognize those "one-percent" improvements that would have made your current case better and then immediately apply those to the next case. The result of this iterative process is confident mastery of the MHM.
Here is how the weeks are structured:

Week 1
Monday
1pm-2pm - Meet together and discuss in detail your goals for the residency and how we can customize the residency experience for you.
2-3:30pm - Observe a live Records Appointment together
3:30-4:30pm - Discuss and observe the treatment planning work up and wax design for the case
4:30-5:00pm - Summary of the Process and customized conversation focused on topics of interest
Tuesday
6:45-7am - Meet my assistant and observe the set up for the day
7am-3:30pm - Observe a live Framing Appointment
3:30-5pm - Review the treatment decisions of the day, Hands on, one-on-one, framing exercise
Wednesday
7am-12:30 pm - Observe a live Natural Effects Appointment
12:30 -1:30pm - Review the treatment decisions of the day, Hands on, one-on-one, cut back exercise
1:30-2pm - Photography
2-3:30pm - Observe second Records Appointment while refining your framing and cut back exercises
3:30-5pm - Hands on wax design exercise and case review
Thursday
7am-3:30pm - Hands on, ten unit typodont Frames and Observation of a live Framing Appointment
3:30-5pm - Review the treatment decisions of the day, Review your ten unit Frames and provide customized feedback and one-on-one instruction for improvement
Friday
7am-12:30 pm - Hands on, ten unit typodont Effects and Observe a live Natural Effects Appointment
12:30 -1:30pm - Review the treatment decisions of the day, Hands on instruction on cut back exercise
1:30-2pm - Photography
2-4pm - Review your ten unit Finished product and provide customized feedback and one-on-one instruction for improvement

8am-1pm - Hands-on, one-on-one instruction (customized for your needs and course goals)
1-2pm - lunch out with me
2-3:30pm - Observe third Records Appointment
3:30-5pm - Hands on wax design exercise (preparation for your next case) and case review
Tuesday
7am-3:30pm - Hands on, ten unit typodont Frames and Observation of a live Framing Appointment
3:30-5pm - Review the treatment decisions of the day, Review your ten unit Frames and provide customized feedback and one-on-one instruction for improvement
Wednesday
7am-12:30 pm - Hands on, ten unit typodont Effects and Observe a live Natural Effects Appointment
12:30 -1:30pm - Review the treatment decisions of the day, Hands-on instruction and case feedback
1:30-2pm - Photography
2-3:30pm - Observe third Records Appointment
3:30-5pm - Hands on wax design exercise (preparation for your next case) and case review

7am-3:30pm - Hands on, ten unit typodont Frames and Observation of a live Framing Appointment
3:30-5pm - Review the treatment decisions of the day, Review your ten unit Frames and provide customized feedback and one-on-one instruction for improvement
Friday
7am-12:30 pm - Hands on, ten unit typodont Effects and Observe a live Natural Effects Appointment
12:30 -1:30pm - Review the treatment decisions of the day, Hands on instruction on cut back exercise
1:30-2pm - Photography
2-4pm - Review your ten unit Finished product and provide customized feedback and one-on-one instruction for improvement
Subsequent weeks (3 and 4) are a repeat of Week 2 until you are ready to take your Practical exam.
The Practical
The Practical Exam is where you complete a 10-unit MHM veneer case over a Monday - Wednesday or Wednesday to Friday on a typodont within the 12 hour (total) allotted time frame. Your case will be graded, pass or fail, according to the Accreditation Standard Criteria established by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. If you pass the exam, you will have demonstrated the ability to achieve a high level of excellence and efficiency with the MHM, and will now be formally recognized as a "Marshall Hanson Method Candidate" and eligible to bring in a live patient of your own, on agreed upon dates, for a non-invasive smile enhancement treatment in our office. You will provide the full treatment and my assistant and I will be there with you to guide you though the entire 3 day process. (The educational fee for this unique experience we will determine together beforehand based on the case.) Based on all your previous work, I anticipate at this point that your result will be at an Accreditation Standard of Excellence. You will become formally recognized as an Accredited MHM provider, and placed on my website under "Find an Accredited MHM provider near you". As an "Accredited MHM Provider" you will also be invited to future exclusive mastermind and education events, and eligible to teach this METHOD with me in courses if you wish.
After years of teaching this METHOD, I believe that this residency structure is the best hands-on format for effectively acquiring the skillset involved to confidently implement and successfully provide this METHOD to your clients.
